Light Moisture Cream

Light Moisture Cream Recipe

Makes 2 x 2 oz jars

2/3 cup Cream Starter Base (140 g)
2 tsp sweet almond oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis)(10 g)
2 tbsp rosewater (30 g)
2 tbsp cocoa butter (Theobroma Cacao) (30 g)
2 tbsp mango butter (Mangifera Indica) (30 g)

Cream Starter Base ingredients:
Purified Water, Emulsifying Wax NF, Stearic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid.

Sure, you can make creams from scratch but starting with a nice healthy cream base is easier for beginners. using a pre-mixed cream base takes care of the step of getting the water into solution with the emulsifying wax.

Assemble your ingredients and cleaned pots. Here’s a glance at just some ingredients you might want to use.
Measure ingredients into a bowl or saucepan that can take the stove heat. The firmer oils were very firm and crumbly at my local room temperature. The white fluffy cream on top is the prepared cream base.
Mix together over gentle heat just until all creams are melted and blended together evenly with no lumps and clumps. Remove from heat and allow to cool to just a warm temperature.
Spooning the nearly cooled cream into small clean pots.
Moisture cream setting in small 2.5 oz pots.
The finished products with nice labels I had printed at local copy shop.

boyL-kids-activity-placematsYou can always add some fragrance but I love the natural slightly cocoa scent this has all by itself and why add more things that could possibly cause a reaction? Guys love the soft natural scent of this one, too so makes great gift for the guys in your life. Better yet, get them on board and in the kitchen helping out and spread the awareness of good health through good ingredients in food and body products.
