The harbours near Vancouver are filled with lovely sailboats and fishing boats, just waiting to be captured by painting and photography. I creep around pointing my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7 at the boats, the spaces between the boats, drawing out the lights and shadows in the watery reflections. Chasing and capturing the light in a beautiful and meaningful composition is what I'm really after.
