I am always welcomed when I sketch and paint down in the fishing harbours, as long as I stay out of the way. The fishing harbour in Powell River offered up these lovely sights and I worked carefully sitting on the wooden working dock on my little stool. A day out plein air painting is always a good day, like going fishing. Sometimes you bring home a lovely fish and sometimes they get away from you. It's an exciting adventure that really feeds larger artwork that comes in the studio afterwards.
